Iowa State University invites you to attend the 2020 Fall Virtual Field Days, August 31-September 4, 2020.

Through a series of interactive webinars see research being conducted across the state on ISU Research and Demonstration Farms. Join ISU Extension Specialists as they take you in the field, explain what they're seeing, and answer your questions. Each morning tour stop features 20 minutes of in-field video, drone footage, and presentation. Each presenter will be available following the tour to take questions from attendees.

Locations of ISU research farms across IowaMore than 130 Iowa State faculty members use the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences' farms for teaching, research and extension. A similar number of staff members are involved as project leaders and workers. Each year about 2,000 students receive hands-on education experiences at teaching farms, including a farm management course in which undergraduates manage a crop and livestock farm. About 15,000 people visit Iowa State’s Research and Demonstration Farms every year.

Who should participate?

  • crop farmers
  • crop consultants
  • ag service providers and ag retailers
  • farm managers
