Constructed ponds and lakes are an important portion of Iowa’s landscape and
provide an important resource for both agriculture and recreation. Issues important
to location, construction and management of this resource is often lacking.
The presentation will discuss these issues, provide information that will benefit
those involved in management of these water bodies and allow time for questions
and discussion.
