Dr. Richard M. Cruse, Professor of Agronomy at Iowa State University and Director of the Iowa Water Center, leads the college's Agricultural Systems Initiative, integrating modern crop production technologies and landscape variability to optimize production and resource conservation. He received his BS from Iowa State University and his MS and PhD from the University of Minnesota. He has authored/coauthored 63 refereed and numerous non-refereed publications addressing tillage, soil and water management, and cropping systems. Dr. Cruse is Fellow of the American Society of Agronomy and the Soil Science Society of America.
