Have a question about CropsTV, pesticide applicator training or what technology you will need to watch CropsTV programs? This is your first stop. This page will continue to be under construction and we'll keep adding questions as they come in.

No. CropsTV does not provide continuing instruction credit for pesticide applicators. To view recertification opportunities please visit the Pesticide Safety Education Program website or contact your county extension office.

CropsTV uses the Canvas learning platform. Following the completion of registration through the Extension Store you will receive a confirmation email with access instructions and link to complete your enrollment in Canvas. After you have completed the Canvas enrollment you will return to Canvas for all CropsTV viewing.

Episodes are released weekly, starting on January 2, 2024 and continuing through February 13, 2024.

If you are joining CropsTV after January 2nd and the video modules are locked, then you haven't completed the CropsTV orientation process.

After completing the CropsTV orientation section, available videos and quizzes within Canvas will be unlocked.

An internet connection, a web browser, and a computer or mobile device with sound. No other software, apps, or downloads are required. Vides stream quality will depend on your internet connection and bandwidth. The player will adjust video resolution to best-match what you have available. You can adjust this by clicking the small cog-wheel in the lower-right corner of the viewer and selecting a different resolution.

CropsTV uses the Canvas learning platform that does have a mobile app available for Android and iOS devices. Use of the app is not required for access but may provide more convenient access on mobile devices. Instructions on using the mobile app and how to log in are provided within CropsTV on Canvas.

Yes. All episodes are closed-captioned. To toggle the captions, click the 'CC' symbol in the lower right corner of the video player.

Yes. Season 1, Season 2 and Season 3 are available for viewing on ISU Crops Team YouTube page. Previous episodes are not eligible for CCA credit.
