Certified Crop Adviser Continuing Education

Iowa Certified Crop Advisers (CCA) can obtain 14 hours of continuing education credit. Workshops are listed in the brochure and online by CCA credit category. We reserve the right to adjust credit offerings due to unavoidable agenda or speaker changes.

2011 Continuing Instructional Course for Commercial Pesticide Applicators

This Conference is approved by the Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship for recertification credit for calendar year 2011 in the following categories:

• 1A - Agricultural weed management
• 1B - Agricultural insect management
• 1C - Agricultural crop disease management
• 4 - Seed Treatment
• 10 - Research and demonstration

For Categories 1A, 1B and 1C
Attend the required topic session indicated on the program and one additional workshop for each category in which you wish to receive recertification. There is a $35 fee for recertification in these three categories. Recertification is not included in the conference registration fee.

• Category 1A - Weeds - Workshops 10-14
• Category 1B - Insects - Workshops 15-18
• Category 1C - Crop Diseases - Workshops 19-21

For Category 4 - Seed Treatment
Attend the required topic session indicated on the program and choose one from the following: workshops 16, 18 or 19.. There is a $35 fee for recertification in this category. Recertification is not included in the conference registration fee.

For Category 10 - Research and demonstration

Category 10 is included with the required sessions listed above. No special session is required for this categroy.
